Overview

Osprey Inspection carried out a confined-space drone inspection of an internal heater ventilation pipe — diameter 600–800 mm, total length 30–40 metres. The survey documented the internal duct surface without personnel entry, eliminating confined-space-entry risk and the need for a service shutdown or external scaffold access. A collision-tolerant inspection drone flew the full run under its own lighting, capturing the duct wall, joints and burner-end residue in a single continuous pass — turning what would normally be a permit-heavy entry job into a short remote survey.
